I completed my power strip project and here is a picture of it:

How do you like that Deoxit? I've had a few good experiences with it.
Dog leashes? How many critters do you have? We've got four cocker spaniels.

Did you put any circuit breaker or fuse in the outlet boxes? Should be 15
Amps or whatever the wire gauge of your hospital plug is rated for
(whichever is less).

First I bought a 2 ml tube. It worked so well that I bought a 24 ml bottle.
No more dropped cable internet connection. I used the Deoxit at the
splitter and haven't had a problem since. It needs redone about once every
couple of months. We have one dog, mixed breed. There's no breaker or fuse
in the outlet boxes, but I currently have it plugged into a surge suppressor
with a breaker on it. I need to ground out the metal tool boxes.

FWIW, you can get DeOxit at Fry's as an aerosol.

Yikes! Yes you do. Also, depending on how stiff the metal is and clearance
to bottom, make sure that when inserting a plug, that there is no chance of
forcing the outlet down to short against the bottom cover. A solid insulator
(plastic, high density cardboard or the like) glued to the bottom of the box
gives some extra protection.

I bought the DeOxit to try renewing relays in my office's elevator control
rack. The six pole 48V relays were no longer available so it was an easy
solution. I've since used it to renew the contacts in the side mirror
control of my 2001 Saturn car. Good stuff. If you ever need a penetrating
oil, I swear by Kroil from Kano Labs. I was removing a rusty exhaust
manifold and soaked it down with Kroil the night before. Put a little more
on in the morning before I started and all the bolts came out without a
single problem.

PBBlaster works well too. Loosened up the studs on an exhaust manifold
like butter.
Didn't try to work the studs with out it, had prepped it for a week in
advance.

I hope those metal boxes are grounded.

How sad. The image is copyrighted? As if someone would want to copy
your image OR your power strip. (neither of which are "copyright-able",
btw.

Oh, and it is TWO, 10 outlet strips, NOT one, 20 outlet strip.

Intrepid indeed. For the rest of the world. You cannot even perform
simple math.

Where are the guts pictures so we can see what your wiring prowess is?

You think there are "top secrets" in there too? Jeez.
